Adults Wish They had a “Do Over” in High School

October 6, 2009

Many nontraditional students are getting a “do over” in college, but in high school? Well, some adults want a do over in high school too.

Adults wish they had done more studying and planning for the future in high school according to a recent survey by Classmates.com.

About three out of 10 Americans said their top priority in high school was their social life, being with friends. Nearly half said they wish they were brave enough to ask out someone they had a crush on.

More than 50 percent of adults said they wish they had found a teacher or mentor who inspired them. However, almost half said they took their studying too seriously, and if given another chance, they would relax a little and not sweat the small stuff.
